Ship Brokerage

Chartering and sale-and-purchase brokerage across the West African coast, supported by direct market intelligence from Tema, Takoradi, and the offshore fields between them.

Service Overview

Our brokerage desk serves owners, charterers, and trading principals with interests on the West African coast. The value we add is regional: we know which tonnage is in the area, who the credible owners and charterers are, and how the market is moving on any given week. We work with international broker networks, but our information advantage is local.

The desk operates with the same standards of confidentiality, documentation, and follow-through that govern the rest of the business. Fixtures are recorded, recap notes are circulated promptly, and post-fixture issues are handled rather than handed off.

Brokerage Services

What We Cover

The transactional and advisory disciplines our brokerage desk delivers.

Voyage Chartering

Single-voyage fixtures for dry-bulk, tanker, and project cargoes. Counterparty vetting, fixture negotiation, and recap circulation. Post-fixture support through to laytime settlement.

Time Chartering

Period charters with structured delivery, redelivery, and off-hire terms. Documentation prepared against BIMCO or principal-preferred forms; clauses negotiated against an understanding of the West African operating risk.

Sale & Purchase

Counterparty introductions, inspection coordination, MOA drafting and negotiation, and closing administration for second-hand vessel transactions involving owners with West African operating interests.

Market Intelligence

Regular reporting on West African vessel availability, cargo flows, freight indications, and port activity. Used by clients to time fixtures and benchmark internal voyage assumptions.
